Photographer Spotlight: Ada Zielińska

Scenes of demolition and destruction.

Ada Zielińska is a visual artist working in the field of photography and installation. Her large format photography seeks out or stages acts of demolition, in order to capture the power inherent in disintegration. Intentionally putting oneself into a destructive situation for the sake of excitement is a way of taming dysfunction, and can even have therapeutic value.

Zielińska is a graduate in Media Art from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and is currently a student of the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava.
