Luca Pernini is an Italian self taught photographer, as well as an engineer, researcher and pianist. His art stems from a desire to tell stories and transmit emotions, which he does both with his camera and on the piano. These serene photos belong to his series Winter Graffiti.
Winter Graffiti depicts the icy details, textured landscape, and peaceful mood of winter. “I attempted to convey the feeling of stepping outside in the morning after a heavy snowstorm, when the sun has just retuned to warm the earth – that precious moment when all the drawings and sculptures of the winter are still visible before they disintegrate.”
