Acreati, a new contemporary fashion platform, introduces you to an unique experience – Shop Through Visual Stories. Using photography and art as its visual language, Acreati brings to light design inspirations and stories around us.
This visual story, Winter Home, is inspired by Dutch Photographer Berber Theunissen’s work. By photographing moody landscapes, she captures moments, emotions and memories in which these intense emotional situations were present or revolving around her. Having grown up in a small village in the Netherlands, Berber packed her bags and moved to Amsterdam when she was 18. After eight years surrounded by the chaotic city life, she began missing the woods, the quiet and the smells of nature. On January 1st of 2015, she moved back to the Dutch countryside, the surrounding that inspires her most. Bring in various Acreati designers’ winter collection inspired by the purity of nature, mysterious fantasy world and unexpected shapes, the seemly isolated landscapes are completed by the warmth of coming home.
