Photographer Ransom Ashley returns to his hometown to document the emotional roller-coaster experience of teenagehood, in his latest body of work, “Virgins.”
The journey’s goal was to focus on being temporarily free from the modern pressures of society, that are now increasingly unavoidable. Freed of such obligations, we were able to appreciate the notion of time and travel at leisure, experiencing Iceland in it’s rawest form.
His Color Studies series examines the effects of tonal exaggeration on nostalgic household objects from the past.
