Adi Putra (1989, Jakarta) is a visual artist who works mainly with film / photography.
His toys of choice are a 35mm and polaroid camera , an old pentax spotmatic , a lomo point and shoot camera, polaroid sx70, or polaroid land cameras. By emphasizing aesthetic, his stylistic imagery is dreamy, ethereal, and nostalgic. His photographic expressions are an attempt to create a realm that exists in the imagination and reality simultaneously. Putra plays with pure sentiment derived from his own intuition and obsession in materializing what was once a fleeting vision in his mind.
He lives in L.A, where he is currently working on a series of music videos and editorial shoots.
