Ling Lin uses photography to meditate on her relationship with the natural world

Alien landscapes, deep wilderness and strange terrains.

Currently based in The Netherlands, Ling Lin sees photography as her own form of meditation. Natural landscapes feature as the primary subjects of her work, serving as mediums through which she contemplates the existence of human civilization and its relationship with the lived environment. Her work reflects subtle emotions that have yet to be decrypted. The following image were selected from three of her photographic series- Route 1, Interstellar, and Silent Hill.

Lin has studied Photography at Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. She is the Co-founder and Director of contemporary fashion platform AcreatiSome of her work is currently on show at CT Coffee & Coconuts, Amsterdam as part of ‘Earth’ Exhibition, Curated by Acreati.
